VOLUNTEER
as a voluntourist
Planning a vacation in New Orleans? Would you like to make a difference in the community while you’re here? Add Green Light to your vacation itinerary! We offer year-round volunteer opportunities 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday. You can choose to volunteer a full or half day, and times are always flexible. When you volunteer with us, you’ll be making a direct positive impact on the city, while seeing a side of New Orleans that most tourists will never see. Volunteering and voluntourism are one of the best ways to interact with and learn about an area and its culture at a grassroots level. No one knows how to work hard and play hard like the Crescent City. So when you volunteer with Green Light New Orleans, you’ll be doing good and having a good time. Now that’s the perfect New Orleans gumbo!
